The question: Sponsoring Laboratory tables, stools and two cabinets
In the past two years, Grasslands Secondary school has had to send her students to other schools for exams. Now that we have finished Block 3, we are nearly able to do exams at the school, but are still in need of lab-tables, stools and two official chemical cupboards. Tanzania has specific requirements for the tables, as seen in the picture.
The school is in need of 12 tables, with 2 stools per table and an additional 2 cupboards, according to the Tanzanian guidelines. A total of € 1280,- is needed for all items to be made and transferred to the school.
We are thankful that besides BD De Ark, who sponsored 2 tables, we raised more money during our annual cycling event, enabling us to order the tables, stools and cupboards to be made. This also means that from now on all exams can take place at the school, saving money for transport and paying the other schools for our students to do exams elsewhere.
