We are looking for multiple sponsors that would like to help put together the girls hostel, step by step. The drawings are such that the building can be build step by step, which also means we can place girls in the first section, before the whole building is finished. We have a project proposal ready to be sent and currently have found 2 sponsors and potentially 3. Will you help build?

It has long been our wish to set up a girls' dormitory/boarding school so that more boarding students can attend the school. This is also important in terms of the school's self-sufficiency, as school fees are also paid by students who can afford to do so.
The plan is to construct the building in two phases. This is possible because there are dormitories on both sides, with the communal hall/living room, bathrooms, and the matron’s bedroom in the middle.
In July 2025, work began on laying the entire foundation. The construction of the first part is progressing so well that two-thirds of the building is now complete up to the height of the roof. In the coming months, we hope to be able to put the roof on, so that the first girls can start using the sleeping facilities at the start of the new school year in January 2026. This means that once this phase is complete, the building can already be used while we raise funds for the construction of the other part. In the first phase, there will be room for 48 boarding students in the dormitories. Another 48 places will be added when the entire building is completed.
We are extremely happy and grateful that we were able to start construction of the hostel and would like to thank the personal donors, the sponsorship via the Laarmarkt in April 2025, and BG de Ark for their commitment, which made this building possible.
In Tanzania, it is normal for children to attend boarding school. For girls, it also offers extra safety, so that they can avoid all kinds of dangers on the way home, which is often a long distance away.
